  8.  FREELY by any 99er newsletter editor.
  9.  If there are any updatings or large
  10.  revisions (correcting typos is fine),
  11.  please note these revisions by
  12.  bracketing the information being
  13.  changed.  Such as - [There are now
  14.  FIVE makers of RAM disks for the TI
  15.  community. - ED] - if I had written
  16.  there were three, for example.  I
  17.  would just like to see the integrity
  18.  of the complete articles maintained,
  19.  BUT I would also appreciate any
  20.  updating before printing where
  21.  possible.
  22.      ANY excerpts may be used at any
  23.  time, but please give credit.
  24.      These disks may be placed in user
  25.  group libraries and may be COPIED
  26.  FREE OF ANY CHARGE BY ANY USER.  I
  27.  offer these articles at no cost to
  28.  all 99ers.  Please do not charge for
  29.  them.
  30.      I do ask, though, that any
  31.  newsletter editor using these
  32.  materials place me on the mailing
  33.  list.  It is this receiving of
  34.  newsletters that helps me to write
  35.  about the happenings in our
  36.  community.  Plus, I enjoy writing
  37.  these columns if I can get a chance
  38.  to read lots of newsletters.  Thank
  39.  you in advance for this.

  44.      ALL of the files on this disk
  45.  (including this one) have been
  46.  encoded using PLUS! templates.  This
  47.  means you can screen read everything
  48.  through your TIW EDITor without the
  49.  annoying windowing, but when you
  50.  print out these files through the
  51.  FORMATer you will get large titles
  52.  and compressed type of about 120
  53.  columns with underline, italics,
  54.  etc.
  55.      Just keep these disks (or at
  56.  least files C2 and C3) in Drive One.
  57.  Otherwise the coding will not be
  58.  read by the FORMATter.  Don't run
  59.  them through the EDITor (PF) as
  60.  you'll get narrow strips of 38
  61.  columns.  If you don't want to print
  62.  through the FORMATter (or your
  63.  printer is not Epson compatible) then
  64.  DELETE the two lines of IF code at
  65.  the beginning of each article (.IF
  66.  DSK1.C3 &&^.IF DSK1.C2) before
  67.  printing through the FORMATter.
  68.  ABOUT 99% OF ALL DOT MATRIX PRINTERS
  69.  USED WITH THE TI SHOULD OPERATE
  70.  PERFECTLY WITHOUT DELETING THOSE TWO
  71.  LINES OF CODE.

  75.  14 2-(and sometimes 3)page
  76.  compressed-print articles on disk
  77.  each year from here on and will
  78.  publicly announce their FREE
  79.  availability.
  80.      The NEW/AGE columns are the most
  81.  recent; IMPACT/99 are earlier;
  82.  TEXTWARE, SOFTWARE, and ELSEWHERE
  83.  columns are the earliest (along with
  84.  some untitled things).

  86.      And, last, a little plug for my
  87.  PLUS! v.2.0 (the LAST, COMPLETE,
  88.  FINAL version!) disk.  This is a
  89.  utility disk and an operating system
  90.  for ALL the many versions of
  91.  T.I.WRITER, though I recommend
  92.  FUNNELWEB. It is about 1400 sectors
  93.  and some 90 files (some packed
  94.  tightly into DOCS packages) that will
  95.  take your word processing options to
  96.  new heights.  It is Fairware for only
  97.  $10 for complete disk and text
  98.  materials.
  99.      Many user groups are using PLUS!
  100.  as a fundraiser by purchasing it as
  101.  GROUPWARE.  This means that for $30
  102.  your group has permission to make
  103.  copies of all the diskfiles and the
  104.  hardcopy items for EVERY member of
  105.  the group.  All members become
  106.  registered users.  If the group
  107.  wishes to sell PLUS! to members for
  108.  $5 (or whatever) to raise money, this
  109.  is okay, as ALL members have their
  110.  fairware donation covered by this
  111.  one-shot $30 GROUPWARE donation.  I
  112.  just ask that you restrict this to
  113.  members of your donating group.

  118.  highly by COMPUTER SHOPPER's Dr.^Ron
  119.  Albright, BB&&P's Dr.^Charles Good,
