- I put a set TeX fonts in the directory /incoming/fx_med. The files are:
- fx_med_0.fli fx_med_2.fli fx_med_5.fli
- fx_med_h.fli fx_med_3.fli
- fx_med_1.fli fx_med_4.fli
- These fonts are for the Epson 9-pin printers at 240x144dpi and are in
- the FLI format which can be used by the EmTeX drivers, dvips, dviwin and
- possibly other dvi drivers. Each file corresponds to a standard magstep
- and contains all the fonts for plain TeX, LaTeX and some of the utility
- fonts used by Knuth (logo* and manfnt). The main reason for uploading them
- is that the FX fonts supplied with EmTeX use a resolution of 240x216dpi
- which cannot be used under MS-Windows because the printer drivers do not
- support that resolution. These fonts are the only ones I know that can be
- used under MS-Windows.

- Sincerely,
-
