  5. I put a set TeX fonts in the directory /incoming/fx_med. The files are:
  6.         fx_med_0.fli        fx_med_2.fli        fx_med_5.fli
  7.         fx_med_h.fli        fx_med_3.fli
  8.         fx_med_1.fli        fx_med_4.fli
  9. These fonts are for the Epson 9-pin printers at 240x144dpi and are in
  10. the FLI format which can be used by the EmTeX drivers, dvips, dviwin and
  11. possibly other dvi drivers. Each file corresponds to a standard magstep
  12. and contains all the fonts for plain TeX, LaTeX and some of the utility
  13. fonts used by Knuth (logo* and manfnt). The main reason for uploading them
  14. is that the FX fonts supplied with EmTeX use a resolution of 240x216dpi
  15. which cannot be used under MS-Windows because the printer drivers do not
  16. support that resolution. These fonts are the only ones I know that can be
  17. used under MS-Windows.
