  2. PrintGF Description
  3.  
  4. PrintGF (Print GIF Files) is a shareware GIF printer  for  IBM/DOS  and Windows
  5. systems.  PrintGF/D (DOS) and PrintGL/W (Windows) print GIF  files on Epson and
  6. IBM 9 pin  printers, Epson, Fujitsu,  IBM,  NEC, and  Toshiba  24 pin printers,
  7. Fargo  Primera,  HP  LaserJet,  DeskJet,  PaintJet, QuietJet,  HI  JetPro,  IBM
  8. ExecJet,  Quietwriter 2 and  3, LaserPrinter, Canon LBP, BJ, and BJC  printers,
  9. Kodak Color 4, PDP ProTracer, PostScript printers, and Tektronix ColorQuick. It
  10. will also display on a CGA, EGA, VGA, VESA SVGA, or HGC.

  12. PrintGF transforms the  bit map size and resolution to match the user specified
  13. size and the native  resolution of the  output  device.  It outputs  240  level
  14. dithered gray on black/white devices and 240 level per plane dithered  color on
  15. three plane (CMY or RGB) color devices (giving 13 million colors).

  17. The user options include  picture area, print area  and margins, brightness and
  18. contrast, gamma  and  gray balance color correction,  dithering  type,  printer
  19. type, output destination, etc.

  21. PrintGF  includes  an overlay that contains  the AccuSoft Image Format Library.
  22. This  lets PrintGF read BMP, JPEG, PCX, TARGA,  and  TIFF images.  The  Windows
  23. version is not included in the shareware package.
