  2. Wipe-out is a Windows application that is designed to get rid of other 
  3. Windows applications - simply and easily.  Wipe-out automates the process
  4. of tracking down the directories and files that an application may scatter
  5. all over your disk.  Wipe-out also backs out the changes that the application
  6. may have made to your system files like AUTOEXEC.BAT, CONFIG.SYS and others.

  8. Wipe-out gets rid of applications that are added *AFTER* Wipe-out is 
  9. installed.  It is of no use for getting rid of old applications.

  11. This is a shareware version of Wipe-out that demonstrates the ease of use
  12. and usefullness of Wipe-out.  The KEEP function builds a picture of the   
  13. current state of your system, while the KILL function checks the C:\, 
  14. C:\WINDOWS and C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directories for files and subdirectories 
  15. that have been added since you've run the KEEP function, and asks if you 
  16. want to delete them.  KILL also restores the key .INI files and other system
  17. files to their state as of the date and time that KEEP was last run.

  19. Registering this copy, by sending in the Registration Form with your payment
  20. brings you the full version, which detects and removes files and directories
  21. on drives other than C:, plus 90 days of tech support via Compuserve.

  23. To install Wipe-out run Setup.exe from Windows.
