- 4DOS.INI to the rescue diskette, if it exist in the root diretory of
- drive C:.
- ■ RestInfo will now check and restore the AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS if it
- finds any errors in them.
- ■ All information on the rescue diskette is now saved with the extension of
- .BRI.
- ■ BackInfo can now identify Seagate hard disk controllers and makes a note
- of it in the PROFILE.TXT file.
- ■ Ontrack SWBIOS extensions are now identified and noted in PROFILE.TXT.
- ■ Fixed problem with INSTALL= statement in CONFIG.SYS.
- ■ Each rescue diskette now requires a unique machine code to be typed when
- the diskette is created. This codes is also used when RestInfo is started.
- ■ Added option to print the BackInfo log file to the local printer after
- creation of the rescue diskette.

- Version 1.26 is a minor bug-fix release:

- ■ When saving track 0 from SCSI drives, BackInfo sometimes did not get
- the number of sectors per track right and filled the rescue diskette
- with data from "Track 0". This is now fixed and BackInfo will stop
- saving track 0 if more then 64 sectors are written.

- and attempted to SYS the hard disk over and over again.
