  29.     The Mass Indexing and Retrieval (MIR) project is a research
  30.     venture of Marpex Inc. with assistance from the Canadian
  31.     government and cooperation from Innotech Inc.
  32.  
  33.     The MIR Introduction is freeware; it may be freely copied
  34.     provided no changes are made.
  35.  
  36.     The MIR Tutorials are shareware; they may be freely copied
  37.     provided no changes are made. If they are used for purposes
  38.     other than preliminary assessment, a registration fee of $29
  39.     must be paid to Marpex Inc. on behalf of each user and for each
  40.     subsequent revision.  If no registration fee is paid, delete or
  41.     destroy all copies after 15 days.

  43.     The programs which accompany an MIR Tutorial are "copyleft",
  44.     that is, subject to the Free Software Foundation GNU General
  45.     Public License (file 05LICENS in the MIR Introduction).

  47.     Purchase prices for diskettes, tapes, and paper copies do not
