  1. This collection (INTRFC5.ZIP) contains incomplete code to decode and display
  2. the interface section of compiled Turbo Pascal 5.0 units.  The enclosed .DOC
  3. file describes a previous version which worked on TP 4.0 .TPU files; it seems
  4. to apply to this one reasonably well, though the code is different.  I'm
  5. releasing the collection to the public domain.

  7. Note that the .TPU file format is different in every version of Turbo Pascal
  8. released so far.  This program works (sort of) on 5.0 files only; it crashes
  9. miserably on 4.0 or 5.5 files.

  11. I said "sort of" above, because this program really is incomplete.  It still
  12. has a lot of junk in it - it dumps the header, which is mostly meaningless,
  13. for instance - and I think it fails on some .TPU files, but don't know which
  14. ones or why.  It's being released by request from Charles Falconer - blame him
  15. if you waste a lot of time on it.  I can't support it, since I don't use TP5.0
