  1. Welcome to Netcom with Netcomplete.
  2. You are reading this because you either:
  3. ò want to install Netcomplete
  4. ò want to install a 3rd party application that is 
  5.   advertised on this CD.

  7. This document contains specific installation 
  8. information for Windows 3.1 users 
  9. and Windows 95 users.

  12. Windows 3.1 users:

  14.  To install Netcomplete:
  15.  
  16.  1. Choose Run from the Program Manager's File menu. 
  17.     The Run dialog box appears. 
  18.  
  19.  2. In the Open text box, type the drive letter where 
  20.     the Netcomplete Installation CD is located followed 
  21.     by:
  22.         d:\win31\setup.exe
  23.     
  24.  3. Click or press Enter. The first screen of the Netcomplete 
  25.     Installation wizard appears.

  28.  3rd Party Applications
  29.    *The following list shows the 3rd party applications 
  30.     available on this CD with Netcomplete for Windows 3.1.

  32.     ò Adobe Acrobat PDF reader
  33.     ò Macromedia Shockwave web browser plugin
  34.     ò McAfee WebScan virus protection software
  35.     ò PeopleLink instant messaging chat application
  36.     ò Qualcomm's Eudora client e-mail application
  37.     ò Vocaltec InternetPhone software
  38.     
  39.     To install 3rd party applications, go to the directory
  40.     called 3rdParty on this CD and then open the Win31 
  41.     directory. Choose the application you want to install...

  44. Windows 95 users:

  46. You can install Netcomplete and the 3rd Party applications 
  47. using the DemoShield wizard. 
  48.  
  49. To launch DemoShield:
  50.  
  51. 1. Click Start on the taskbar and choose Run from the Start menu. 
  52.    The Run dialog box appears. 
  53.  
  54. 2. In the Open text box, type the drive letter where the 
  55.    Netcomplete Installation CD is located followed by either: 
  56.  
  57.    ò d:\demo32 NC32NSC.DBD  --if you have the Netcomplete CD
  58.                               with Netscape Communicator
  59.  
  60.    ò d:\demo32 NC32ie.DBD  --if you have the Netcomplete CD 
  61.                              with Microsoft Internet Explorer

  64. 3. Click or press Enter. The first screen of the Netcomplete 
  65.    Installation wizard appears.

  67. Refer to the Netcomplete Readme (win95\README.TXT) for a list 
  68. of the 3rd party applications on this CD.
