  1. New to this version since Release. 3.00

  3. QCom:
  4.     ZModem file transfer protocol has been added. 
  5.     Compuserve BPlus protocol has been added.
  6.     
  7.     Several new options/features have been added to QCom. They include:
  8.     International Dialing prefix string
  9.     Improved protocol configuration and execution.
  10.     Maximum Redials Attempts to limit redials if desired.
  11.     Autoexec Script to execute a named script on startup.   
  12.     AutoSend timer to send Carriage Return  after period of inactivity.           
  13.     AutoHangUp timer to hangup after period of inactivity.
  14.     AutoEnd option to end Qcom after AutoHangUp.
  15.         Expanded Dialing Directory for more session options.

  17.     See Qcom Configuration (press Alt-O, then F1 for the pulldown menus)
  18.     to change these options.
  19.     As a result of these additions, the previous QCom.CFG files are
  20.     no longer compatible.  Qcom will attempt to "auto-magically"
  21.     update an existing 3.00 CFG file to 3.10.  It will not update
  22.     prior versions.

  24.     The Dialing Directory data file QCom.Fon has been expanded to allow
  25.     more control and flexiblity when setting up dialing entries. The editing
  26.     screen for Dialing entries has been modified to reflect these changes.
  27.     Note:    To update an existing QCom.Fon file run FonCon.EXE. 
  28.     
  29.     Registered Users Note: The instructions you received showing examples
  30.     of using external protocols will also apply to configuring external 
  31.     protocols in QCom's Configuration.  Parameter passing remains the same
  32.     when adding/editing a protocol in XFer Options choice under the
  33.     Protocols Menu. See the documentation under External Protocols also.
