  1.        (M)essage System

  3.             Displays message subsystem menu as follows:

  5.             (B)ackward Read
  6.  
  7.                  Asks caller for starting a message number.  If ENTER is
  8.                  pressed MEGAHOST will start with the last message.  The
  9.                  message database is then traversed backwards.
  10.  
  11.             (D)elete By Record
  12.  
  13.                  Allows SysOp to delete individual records by record
  14.                  number.
  15.  
  16.             (E)nter Message
  17.  
  18.                  Allows caller to enter a message in the message
  19.                  database. You may leave both public and private
  20.                  messages. A conference must then be specified.  Refer
  21.                  to (E)NTER MESSAGE in Caller Menu Options for editing
  22.                  options.

  24.             (F)orward Read
  25.  
  26.                  Asks caller for starting a message number.  If ENTER is
  27.                  pressed MEGAHOST will start with the first message.
  28.                  The message database is then traversed forwards.

  30.             (G)oodbye Logoff

  32.                  Asks you if you really want to log off.  If you say no,
  33.                  you will find yourself out of the Message System.

  35.             (M)essage Area

  37.                  Selecting any conference other than ALL will limit the
  38.                  viewing of messages to the chosen conference.

  40.             (N)ew Messages
  41.  
  42.                  If the UserLog facility has been enabled and the caller
  43.                  is recognized by the system (he has an entry in the
  44.                  .CNF file) then (N)ew Messages will start forward
  45.                  displaying messages left since the last time he was on.
  46.                  If not, (N)ew Messages will start forward displaying
  47.                  messages one month prior to the current date.

  49.             (P)ause Toggle
  50.  
  51.                   With (P)ause ON the caller may be able to (A)nswer,
  52.                   (D)elete, and (E)dit messages depending upon the
  53.                   callers security.  These choices are given after each
  54.                   message is displayed.  If the caller wishes to capture
  55.                   messages very quickly the (P)ause should be toggled
  56.                   OFF.  This mode is read-only as there is no provision
  57.                   for the above choices.

  59.             (Q)uit Mail
  60.  
  61.                   Returns caller to main menu.
  62.  
  63.             (R)ebuild Database
  64.  
  65.                   Enables the SysOp to rebuild all of the index files.
  66.  
  67.             (S)earch Messages
  68.  
  69.                   Allows caller to search the To, From, and Subject
  70.                   fields of the message database.  Wildcard are NOT
  71.                   permitted.
  72.  
  73.             (Y)our Mail
  74.  
  75.                   Displays messages that are either From you or To you
  76.                   starting with the first message.
