  22. The Archive-name is what the moderator has named the posting and reflects
  23. the location of the packages within the volume they are listed.

  27. Please access the archives via sparky.sterling.com or ftp.uu.net.  cd to the 
  28. appropriate volume directory and "get" the file you want.  The archives are 
  29. compressed so you might want to assure binary mode is enabled prior to the 
  30. get.

  32. There are may ways to get articles via email available on the net.  To
  33. make it simple...  For email access via netlib....
  34.  
  35. Each volume directory contains a file named "index". index is a listing of
  36. the individual issues posted and archived within the volume. If you need to
  37. get an index listing for a specific volume mail a request of the type..
  38.  
  39.        send volume21/index from comp.sources.x
  40.  
  41. NOTE: For netlib access, you need to prefix the filename of the issue 
  42. you are requesting with the volume number. E.g.
  43.  
  44. For example, to get a copy of xnlock, searching for xnlock in the following 
  45. index shows that there are 3 parts in volumes 6, 9 and 17.  Send a mail 
  46. message to netlib@uunet.uu.net (or uunet!netlib) with the following as the 
  47. body of the message.
