  8. I could not find a user group to post this article .
  9. Probably because nobody uses Wang systems anymore.
  10. We also plan to stop using it soon but until then we
  11. have a problem and are hoping someone would be able to
  12. help us.

  14. We currently have a Wang VS100 that is running on the
  15. wang operating system 6.43. At another location we
  16. are temporarly installing another VS which will be
  17. running at 7.XX. Will these machines still be able 
  18. to talk to each other since they will also be running
  19. different versions of WSN.

  21. The reason for this crazy setup is that we are installing
  22. a LAN which will need to access the VS100 for sometime to come.
  23. To do this we need a product called Lightspeed that only runs
  24. on 7.XX version of the operating system. We dont want to upgrade
  25. our VS100 because it would take to long to convert our programs/procedures.
  26. That is why we want to use a second VS to run Lightspeed and attach
  27. to our VS100. CAN THIS BE DONE ? No one seems to know the anwser
  28. any help would be appreciated.
