- | I was wondering where I might find the source to the program
- | ROGUE. I understand it is written in C, and I'm wondering if
- | the source code is available. Please e-mail responses to
- | the address at the TOP of this letter (as this is not my
- | regular account). Thanks in advance!

- | You can't get the source of rogue. The authors of the game, as is
- | their right, have chosen not to make the sources available.
- | However, several rogue-like games have been posted to the
- | comp.sources.games group and they are available in the archives.

- Well, last time I checked the AT&T Toolchest, they were selling
- the source code for Rogue (at least a very extensive AT&T
- internal version, with hundreds of animals). AT the time, it
- was a pretty reasonbale $75. (that's not bad for a lot of very
- good source code! Lots of fun to hack!)
-
- ANYWAY... the Toolchest is (was) a BBS at 201-522-6900. But
- it's been two years! (login: guest) Give it a shot...
