  8.   The Jargon File  has been released for review.  You can
  9. snarf it via FTP from:

  11.     mc.lcs.mit.edu    18.26.0.179    under /pub/jargon

  13.    Look for a file called `jargon.<nnn>', where <nnn> is the digits
  14. of the current version number (that is, version 5.6.7 would be `jargon.567').

  16.   If you are reading this on USENET or are not on my list of people
  17. with FTP access, this note will be followed by 17 shar files
  18. which are all the parts of the Jargon File.

  20.   This version is a draft for "The New Hacker's Dictionary", now
  21. expected to come out from MIT Press sometime in summer 1991.  This
  22. draft is being circulated to the hacker community for criticism and
  23. additions. Your comments and new entries are welcomed; mail them to
  24. jargon@snark.thyrsus.com or ...!uunet!snark!jargon.
