  12. This is quite reminiscent of a library reference book called the Gale
  13. Dictionary of Abbreviations (or something like that).  Gale Research is
  14. a company that creates publications by entering lists of things into a
  15. database and then publishing various sortings as books.

  17. Now the dictionary of abbreviations comes in two volumes.  One is
  18. like the list posted, listing in abbreviation order.  The other
  19. volume--and libraries really buy this--lists things by name and tells
  20. you what the abbreviation is.  Like you would look up International
  21. Business Machines to find that its abbreviation is "IBM".  Oh.
