  1. These are the filters and printcap entries I use for printing on
  2. an HP LaserJet Series II Laser Printer from my Sun 3/50.  I have the
  3. printer attached to serial port b on the Sun and the serial port
  4. on the Laser Printer.
  5. These were written by someone (me) who didn't have any idea what was
  6. supposed to go into filters like this.  I picked up everything from the
  7. manuals and SMI support.  If there is something that is not done correctly
  8. or there are any bugs, please let me know.  For instance, I wasn't really
  9. sure what to do with the -c option of lpr.  And I don't know what the
  10. capital E is doing there in the 'tr' value of the printcap entry.  It was
  11. in the printcap that was distributed recently, and it seemed to make things
  12. work better.
