- This disk conforms to the level 1, ISO-9660 format. All the filenames
- are limited to eight single-case characters, with an extension of up
- to three characters. Major directories have an index file named
- 00_index.txt that contains a description of each file in the directory
- and all subdirectories.

- Most of the files in the msdos/ directory are in either ZIP or ARC format.
- There are several programs located on this cdrom for handling these files:

- msdos/pkunzip.exe Msdos program for unzipping files named *.ZIP
- msdos/zip/unzip41.zip C source code for free Unix/VMS/MS-DOS UNZIP

- Most Unix systems already have a tar program. There are several tar programs

- include files from other sources.
