  1. TOC is in it's formative stages, and at this time is not very interactive.
  2. Use the command line to pass parameters to the program as detailed in TOC.DOC.
  3. Note that command line options are not separated from each other by spaces.

  5. The following information will help you to use TOC more effectively:

  7. 1.  While in PC-Outline, or Brown Bag Outline, be sure to save the specified
  8. configuration screens into the config file using F10.  The program will use the
  9. values it finds in the specified config file to replace the default values
  10. shown in TOC.DOC.  The program assumes that what it reads from the file is
  11. a valid value, and if the following screens are not saved, this cannot be
  12. guaranteed:
  13.     Display Global Outline Style - /DG
  14.     Display Default Paragraph Style - /DD
  15.     Print Set Page Format - /PF
  16.     Advanced Configuration Settings -/AC

  18. 2.  Before sending output to the printer, use the /O=con: command to send the
  19. program output to the screen to see that the table of contents appears as you
  20. want it to.
