- HELP ... A QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE FOR PC-DOS
-
- HELP is a program written in BASICA. HELP consists of a
- HELP.BAS program file plus approximately 30 text files.
- It is not copy protected, and you may use DISKCOPY to
- make duplicate floppies.
- All program files MUST be kept in the same directory
- when you use the program. If you plan to use HELP on a
- floppy disk, you must add BASICA or your version of
- advanced basic to the main (root) directory of this
- disk. There is also space to add system files by using SYS.
- Read the file README.DOC for instructions.
-
- BROWSE.COM is a utility which allows you to browse a
- file, similar to the browse command on the IBM
- mainframe. You type the command
- BROWSE filename.filetype and you can then scroll up and
- down the file, locate a specific string etc.
