  3. This directory contains a number of drawfiles
  4. which are suitable for use as pattern fills in
  5. conjunction with the FontFX 'stencil'
  6. facility. To use one, load it into Draw, copy it
  7. as many times as necessary to cover a large enough
  8. area (each pattern is one square inch in size),
  9. then create your stencilled text with FontFX and
  10. drop the created drawing on top of the patterned
  11. background. The pattern will show through the
  12. text, with the background box obscuring the
  13. surrounding area. If the text is too large for the
  14. background, copy some more background area as
  15. necessary. If the pattern spreads beyond the
  16. background box, either re-create the stencil with
  17. a larger background box or put some masking
  18. rectangles over the unwanted patterned areas.
