  4. In order to clarify the situation as to how this version of ArcFS may or may not be used I have included this file:

  6. The use of 'Archimedes' in this file applies to all Risc-OS machines.

  8. *This version of ArcFS is for General Public Domain.
  9.  
  10. *It may be copied freely as long as this is not done for a profit or any
  11. sort of commercial gain or advantage and the complete application is copied
  12. as a whole.
  13.  
  14. *The copyright remains mine at all times.
  15.  
  16. *It may be supplied on disk to any private Archimedes user for the purpose
  17. of distribution only.
  18.  
  19. *It may be distributed by purchasers of the read / write version with
  20. software that has been compressed by the read / write version to other
  21. PRIVATE users (subject to the copyright on the compressed software).
  22.  
  23. *It may NOT be supplied on any remote database without my permission.
  24.  
  25. *It may NOT be supplied through any public domain libraries without my
  26. permission. (This is mainly so that I know who to send the latest versions
  27. to). Libraries with permission to distribute ArcFS 0.30 may distribute this
  28. version but see note below.

  30. *Any P.D. library with permission to distribute ArcFS must also make the
  31. ArcFSExtra archive available in the library. Copies of this are available to
  32. P.D. libraries on sending me a formatted disk in a padded envelope with
  33. return postage and address label.

  35. *ArcFS may NOT be distributed for any other reason without my permission,
  36. which would normally involve me getting something in return (depending on
  37. what it is used for). I am always open to offers from commercial companies
  38. wanting to distribute the read only version on disks containing compressed
  39. software.

  41. *No part of the !ArcFS application may be included in any other application
  42. without my permission.
