- CD(REL2) ARP User's Manual' CD(REL2)
-
-
-
- NAME
- CD - Report or change the current directory.
-
- SYNOPSIS
- CD Dir ROOT/S
-
- DESCRIPTION
- CD when given a valid directory name, makes that directory
- the current or default working directory. To display the
- current directory, type CD without any arguments. (For a
- really nifty way to do this, see the ARP prompt
- replacement).
-
- REL2 adds the switch ROOT. By using ROOT in place of an
- actual directory name, an assignment to DRIVE 0 will be
- made, rather than an assignment to the disk in DRIVE 0.
- Also added in REL2 is a simple pattern matching capability.
- You may use a wildcard specification as an argument to CD,
- CD will make the first directory it finds that matches the
- pattern the current dir.
-
- EXAMPLE
- CD DF0:LIBS ; change directory to df0:libs
- CD ; report current directory
- CD ROOT ; Make any disk in Drive 0 the current directory.
