  2. sources of freely redistributable Amiga software.  
  3. These include Fish Disks, Amicus disks (from Amazing Computing), 
  4. FAUG (First Amiga User's Group, Palo Alto, CA) disks, and so on.
  5. APDC is dedicated to bringing you the most of the best public domain
  6. and shareware software available for your favorite computer,
  7. the Commodore Amiga.

  10. SHAREWARE 
  11. This is a special category of freely redistributable software, and
  12. all programs that fall into this category clearly distinguish 
  13. themselves as so. Shareware software is copyrighted, but all users
  14. are encouraged to try out the program and pass it around freely. 
  15. If a user regularly uses a shareware program he or she is expected to 
  16. send a certain, usually suggested, amount to the author(s) or 
  17. specified charity.  APDC encourages all users to support shareware
  18. as they find such programs useful.  Most programmers appreciate any 
  19. sort of feedback on their programs, even if it does not contain
  20. monetary remuneration.

  24. associated with copying diskettes.  Send back any unreadable disks
  25. for free exchange.  APDC does not guarantee nor can in any way be

  28. used in association with these programs. This means that if you are
  29. working on something important with a public domain/shareware (or any)
  30. program, make sure you have a backup copy.  It is always a good idea to
  31. BACKUP YOUR DISKS.
