  2. This is the Voxware soundcard drivers version 2.90-2 for
  3. SCO OpenServer Release 5.
  4.  
  5. This version is the ALPHA test version of the sound drivers for SCO.
  6. Beware of unexpected results.  In any case make sure you can trust your
  7. backups before testing this stuff...
  8.

  10. The principal author of the Voxware drivers is Hannu Savolainen
  11. (hannu@voxware.pp.fi).  See the file COPYING for copyright info.
  12. This driver is based on the Voxware 2.90-2 source, which is
  13. available at sunsite.unc.edu and other Linux archive sites.

  15. usr/bin/mixer is a command line app for querying and setting mixer line
  16. levels.

  18. Installation
  19. ------------

  21. 1)    Login as root on the console.  Make sure other users have
  22.     logged off the system.
  23.  
  24. 2)    Extract the tar file into the root directory.
  25.  
  26. 3)    Run mkdev audio.  This will give you the rest of the installation
  27.     instructions.
