  6. Resource Management projects and the business and technical factors that make
  7. project management essential. You will learn to: evaluate the social, cultural,
  8. and organizational implications of project management; and establish a Project
  9. Management Support System (PMSS) strategy

  11. This course features a highly realistic Lifecycle Project Planning and Control
  12. Simulation to reinforce the concepts and techniques taught in the classroom.
  13. You and your project team members will use a computer-based simulation model to
  14. plan and execute a complex IRM project. Your initial estimates are impacted by
  15. typical problems as each phase of the lifecycle is executed. You respond by
  16. adjusting your plans to minimize future cost and schedule impacts. Your team's
  17. success is measured against your original baseline plan, not a "school
  18. solution."
