  5. With the Subscriber Billing System, timely bill statements can be produced,
  6. along with pertinent information.  An easily maintainable control file allows
  7. the user to define Federal, State and Local tax percentages or monthly
  8. surcharges, and number of billing cycles.  A module exists which allows the
  9. maintenance of the equipment and services that are subject to tariffs or
  10. recurring charges:  add, change, inquire, and delete.  This file contains one
  11. record for each user-defined equipment or service item offered to Local
  12. Service subscribers.  The Subscriber Accounts File has completed subscriber
  13. account records.  There is also Billing Calculation, Toll Summary Entry and
  14. Edit, Disconnect Notices, Local Service Bills, Distribution to General Ledger,
  15. Flexible Reporting Capabilities, and many more features and capabilities
  16. available.  Some of the latter are in-house labels processing, deposit
  17. processing, direct inquiry into plant records and trouble history, and
  18. integration via CSI Service Orders system.
