  8. Uninterruptible Power Systems, combining true no-break power, complete power
  9. protection and advanced intelligence in a small, affordable package. Fortress
  10. features: no-break power, sine-wave output, excellent RF noise rejection (47 db
  11. normal mode, 38 db common mode); and battery-saver brownout protection. It
  12. passes ANSI/IEEE C62.41 Categories A and B tests for lightning and surge
  13. protection. Its digital parameter display shows true, load-dependent runtime,
  14. volts in, volts out, battery voltage, percent loading, and alarm status.
  15. Fortress features 15 user-programmable parameters and alarm setpoints, and nine
  16. audible alarms. The 2 KVA model provides 22 minutes of backup runtime at half
  17. load, and eight minutes at full load. It features a slide-out battery tray for
  18. easy shipping and replacement. Fortress is UL listed and CSA approved. With
  19. optional interface kits, Fortress can communicate with SCO UNIX/XENIX
  20. platforms, performing an automatic soft shutdown during prolonged power outages.
