  7. The Smart-UPS are high-performance, line-interactive UPSes, designed for
  8. critical applications including LANs, engineering workstations,
  9. telecommunications equipment, and minicomputers. A Smart-UPS provides a new
  10. line-interactive design for a cleaner and smoother transfer to battery during
  11. power outages. The SmartBoost feature boosts the voltage level 12 percent while
  12. conserving battery time during the most common brownout range of 92 to 103
  13. volts. These pure sine wave output units have battery replacement indicators
  14. that alert users to potential problems before batteries wear out. This series
  15. also comes with rear option switches, a site wiring fault indicator, and an
  16. intelligent interface for automatic network shutdowns during extended power
  17. outages. Line filtering, lightning, and surge protection are provided at all
  18. times. All the units carry UL, CSA, TUV, and Novell Lab approvals, as well as a
  19. two year warranty and 5,000 Guaranteed ABSOLUTE Protection (see warranty for
  20. details).
