  5. SCIM486SLC is a compact STEbus/IEEE-1000 board which enables a complete
  6. 486-class computer to be configured on a rugged 100x160mm single-Eurocard
  7. module. It employs a high-integrity hardware architecture that is
  8. purpose-designed for industrial environments, and offers a flexible foundation
  9. for building ultra-high-performance systems for industrial control and data
  10. acquisition. SCIM486SLC packs the powerful CPU onto a single Eurocard with 100%
  11. PC. AT compatibility is provided by a Chips and Technologies' chipset. The
  12. local expansion interface - via the SCIM bus - provides a means of matching the
  13. on-board hardware to the industrial requirement, to minimize system board count
  14. and costs. SCIM options include a wide variety of digital and analog industrial
  15. I/O, networking and Super VGA graphics. With this latter option fitted the
  16. board implements the full PC AT function.
