  7. The DTC 2290 provides a new cost/performance solution for EISA disk I/O. The
  8. DTC 2290 is a full 32-bit EISA card which controls up to four IDE drives. The
  9. DTC 2290 breaks the IDE bottleneck on EISA by allowing the IDE drive to
  10. transfer data at its maximum rate rather than the 4 MB per second limit imposed
  11. by EISA in ISA products. Using the fast IDE drives, available today, with the
  12. DTC 2290 the I/O performance can meet and exceed the performance of even the
  13. fastest ISDI drives at a substantially lower cost. The DTC 2290 also supports
  14. up to two floppy drives. DOS, SCO UNIX, OS/2, and Novell Netware compatible.
