  7. Intellicon-4 is a four-port intelligent asynchronous communications adapter
  8. that allows multiple serial devices to be connected to an industry-standard ISA
  9. and EISA bus-compatible computer. The Intellicon-4 has an onboard
  10. microprocessor and dual-ported RAM to offload the task of managing
  11. communications from the main CPU. Custom software can be downloaded to the
  12. onboard RAM to support specialized protocols. Multiple boards may reside in a
  13. PC to accommodate large multi-user systems. Interfaces available are RS-232 or
  14. RS-422/RS-485 with male DB25 connectors(RS-232) or female DB9 connectors
  15. (RS-422/RS-485). Transparent print through for terminals is supported. The
  16. Intellicom-4 comes with board, software drivers (for SCO XENIX 286, 386, and
  17. VP/ix, SCO UNIX System V/386, Microport UNIX 286, 386 and DOSMerge, STREAMS,
  18. Interactive Systems Corp. UNIX 386/ix and VP/ix, QNX, VENIX, TSX-32, Coherent,
  19. PC-MOS/386, and DOS), cable assembly, and manuals.
