  7. The DFlex-4 is a port-standard asynchronous communications adapter that allows
  8. multiple serial devices to be connected to an industry-standard ISA and EISA
  9. bus compatible computer. A unique feature of the DFlex-4 is its capability to
  10. provide multiple electrical interfaces on the same board through the use of
  11. SIMM technology. SIMM interfaces modules are available for RS-232, RS-422/485,
  12. and 20mA Current Loop. The DFlex-4 offers the following features: 16450 UARTs
  13. (or 16550 UARTs can be ordered for applications that require and support the
  14. additional buffering capability, rapid data transfer rates up to 56 Kbaud, port
  15. addresses, and IRQ lines that are DIP switch and jumper selectable. Multiple
  16. boards may reside in a PC to accommodate large multi-user systems. DFlex-4
  17. comes with board, cable assembly, and manuals.
