  7. The BT-742A is a 32-bit bus master EISA SCSI host adapter for multitasking,
  8. multi-user operating system environments based on the BusLogic proprietary Bus
  9. Master ASIC.  Scatter/gather data transfers of more than 8000 data segments
  10. can be performed.  Data is transferred over the EISA bus at up to 33 MB per
  11. second.  Synchronous or asynchronous data transfers occur on the SCSI bus at
  12. 5-10 MB per second.  A 16-bit microprocessor reduces host CPU overhead.  Both
  13. internal and external 50-pin SCSI connectors are provided on the board.  An
  14. onboard floppy controller chip supports any combination of up to two 3.5-inch
  15. or 5.25-inch floppy drives.
