  8. 5.25-inch, half- high removable tape storage solution. Utilizing helical scan
  9. technology and the DDS format the Model 1300 delivers 2 GB of removable storage
  10. in a durable shirt pocket size 4mm DAT cassette. The Model 1300 offers a
  11. sustained transfer rate of 11 MB per minute and the highest SCSI burst rate
  12. available -- 5.3 MB per second. To ensure data integrity, the Model 1300
  13. incorporates an advanced computer DAT mechanism and three layers of hardware
  14. ECC code. Further reliability is achieved with full read after write data
  15. verification, data frame checksums, and data randomization. The WangDAT Model
  16. 1300 is today's standard in the DAT industry, with a field proven MTBF of over
  17. 60,000 hours.
