  5. The Hostess i/MCS is a two-port high-performance synchronous intelligent
  6. controller designed for high-speed network connectivity in Micro
  7. Channel-compatible PCs. It features an on-board 12Mhz NEC V53 processor with
  8. 128K of dual-ported RAM. Memory can be expanded to 8Mb via SIMM modules. The
  9. Hostess i/MCS can be configured with up to two synchronous ports which operate
  10. at 1.1 megabits per second. There are two DB15 connectors on the controller.
  11. Both ports are supported by four DMA channels for full duplex operation. The
  12. Hostess i/MCS supports RS-232 or RS-422 operation.
