  7. OptiXchange 940 is a multifunction optical subsystem able to read and write
  8. both WORM and Rewriteable optical media from the same drive. It is the world's
  9. first optical subsystem to incorporate phase-change technology with a hardware
  10. caching interface, OCU, for connectivity and added performance for SCO UNIX
  11. users. Using the OCU, OptiXchange 940 appears just like a standard hard disk to
  12. SCO UNIX systems. No special software or drivers are required for operation.
  13. Features include 940 MB capacity per WORM media cartridge and 1 GB capacity per
  14. Rewriteable media cartridge, direct overwrite in one disk revolution for
  15. superior writing performance, data buffering and caching, firmware or hardware
  16. data compression, battery backed-up cache, and access to historical data
  17. through a timestamp feature. OptiXchange 940 is available as an end-user or OEM
  18. product.
