  7. The CodeNet-9443 is a single-mode (Category 1) Dual Attached Station (DAS) FDDI
  8. adapter for longer internodal distances. Distances of up to 12 miles (20 Km)
  9. between adjacent nodes are supported in a dual counter-rotating backbone
  10. configuration. The CodeNet-9443 includes two SMF-MIC connectors. The
  11. CodeNet-9440 is a Category 1 Single Mode Single Attached (SAS) 100 Mbps ANSI

  14. The American Nation Standards Institute (ANSI) developed the FDDI standard for
  15. very high-speed token passing ring networks: ANSI X3T9.5, Fiber Distributed
