  7. The Performance 3000 printer server connects up to four high-speed parallel or
  8. serial printers to an ethernet network. Any SCO system running TCP/IP can queue
  9. jobs to any of the printers attached to the Performance 3000. These printers
  10. can also be accessed simultaneously by any other TCP/IP-based computer system
  11. (e.g., Sun Workstations) or by Digital Equipment Corp. computers running the
  12. LAT protocol, making the Performance 3000 ideal for sharing expensive line
  13. printers and page printers among many host computers on the network. An added
  14. benefit of the Performance 3000 is that it allows printers to be located at
  15. large distances away from the host computer (up to 3000 meters).
