  7. The family of EiconCard 1 MB, intelligent communications adapters are available
  8. for both the IBM PC, PS/2, and compatibles. The EiconCard allows users to link
  9. to SDLC and X.25-based communications applications under several operating
  10. systems, including DOS, OS/2, UNIX, and XENIX. They support 254 simultaneous
  11. sessions among any number of PCs on a LAN. The EiconCard/PC 1 MB and
  12. EiconCard/MC 1 MB feature a Motorola 10 MHz 68008 microprocessor, 80 packet per
  13. second throughput, 64 KB per second line speed and V.24 (RS-232) interface. The
  14. EiconCard, HSI/PC 1MB and EiconCard, HSI/MC 1 MB feature a Motorola 16MHz
  15. 32-bit 68000 microprocessor, 200 packet per second throughput, 384 KB per
  16. second and V.24, V.35, and X.21 interfaces. The EiconCard DPNA/PC is an HSI
  17. card with two independent ports for separate network connections.
