  8. supports many ISA- or EISA-based microcomputer hosts and provides up to eight
  9. ports - all with a full complement of handshake controls for modem support.
  10. Fully shielded cables and remote panels simplify terminal connections and allow
  11. use in harsh and noisy environments without data loss. Data handling is
  12. enhanced by two 8051 microprocessors - one on the board and another on the I/O
  13. panel. Easy to upgrade in the field, a four-port version converts to eight
  14. ports in minutes. To add even more ports, simply insert multiple boards. Choice
  15. of interface: RS232 or RS422.
