  7. REFORM is a software tool that enables application software packages, such as
  8. accounting systems, to print business forms on high-quality laser printers
  9. without modifications to the application's source code.  Output data sent to
  10. the print spooling system is captured, REFORMatted, and rerouted to one or
  11. more laser printers according to control tables maintained by REFORM.  At the
  12. time the form is printed, REFORM merges the reformatted data with
  13. user-supplied TIFF graphic images and with commands to produce the background
  14. text, lines, and boxes of a form.  Typefaces may be individually specified for
  15. each output field.  Alphanumeric data fields may also be automatically
  16. translated into various industry standard bar codes.  An optional enhancement
  17. called REFORM-FAX allows one or more parts of a multipart form to be rerouted
  18. and automatically sent via a computer FAX system.  Preconfigured control files
  19. are available for various popular accounting packages.
