  7. The XROFF Electronic Publishing System is an enhanced version of AT&T
  8. Documentor's Workbench, providing a full set of tools for electronic publishing
  9. using a UNIX- or XENIX-based computer system and a laser printer or
  10. phototypesetter. XROFF fully supports the TROFF electronic publishing language,
  11. including the TBL table formatter, EQN equation formatter, PIC picture
  12. formatter, and MM, MS, and MAN macro packages. XROFF supports a wide variety of
  13. output devices, including PostScript. Hewlett-Packard Laserjet, and Oasys
  14. compatibles. No special font cartridges or other options are required because
  15. XROFF comes with its own font library on disk, with a variety of font families
  16. in sizes from four to 48 point, each in normal, bold, and italic.
