  7. Calendar Manager is a client/server appliction that automates personal,
  8. resource, and facility scheduling.  Meetings, conferences, classrooms,
  9. conference facilities, van and car pools, and pipeline stations are among the
  10. schedules managed by this software package.  Calendar Manager lets users
  11. schedule meetings without entering date, times, or agenda items, as simple
  12. cursor movements select the details of a meeting, Schedules of attendees,
  13. resources, and facilities are searched, and conflicts automatically resolved.
  14. A pull-down menu of applicable commands, as well as general and context
  15. sensitive online help may be viewed.  Proxy scheduling mode allows the
  16. scheduling of people, resources, and facilities by designated administrators.
  17. Notices and reminders are given online (ticklers) and upon logging on.
  18. Rescheduling meetings, and scheduling recurring meetings (such as the third
  19. Thursday of every month) are accomplished with a few keystrokes.  Weekly
  20. summary, multiple calendar summary, holiday support, multiday blocking, and
  21. printed reports are included.  Calendar Manager heralds the next major office
  22. automation era and is ideally suited for system environments which include
  23. several operating systems.  Not only is it multiplatform, it operates
  24. interoperably among DOS, Windows, MacIntosh and VT terminal clients; and
  25. Novell, UNIX, and VMS servers.
