  7. CSO-Prolog V2.0 is a real object-oriented extension of Communicating Sequential
  8. PROLOG. It is written completely in CS-Prolog. In Object-CS-Prolog, the
  9. following concepts are integrated in a unique system: object-oriented
  10. programming - objects; object-oriented language concepts of encapsulation and
  11. reusability fully implemented; parallel programming - processes; and simulation
  12. - time
  13.  
  14. CSO-Prolog includes a complete program development environment. An editor with
  15. syntax checker is standard, as is an advanced multiwindow debugger with
  16. tracepoints and breakpoints, and file/object browser utilities. Built-in
  17. predicates include character mode windowing, comprehensive I/O functions, "C"
  18. and assembly language subrouting interfaces, floating point arithmetic, string
  19. handling, predicates for dBASE III+ file access, and graphics capability. As
  20. with CS-Prolog, special predicates are used to represent parallel execution,
  21. message passing, and the simulation of time, to coordinate multiple processes.
