  5. This module provides the ability to give discounts based on quantity or dollar
  6. volume purchased. It can be used as a separate method or in conjunction with
  7. Distributing's other pricing methods. For example, gives discounts to customers
  8. based on quantity or dollar breakpoints for an item or group of items; assign
  9. discounts for all product classes, individual product classes, all commodity
  10. codes, individual commodity codes, etc. It can assign up to five discount
  11. categories per customer. It gives dollar discounts or percentage discounts; the
  12. discounts are off the calculated price and prints the total discount given at
  13. the bottom of the invoice and allows each item to be classified into multiple
  14. price levels. Volume Discount works in conjunction with the Distributing price
  15. routines or as a separate routine. It requires the Integrated Accounting and
  16. the Distributing modules.
