  7. The "scoflick" program will display in an X  Window files created with
  8. Autodesk Animator, Autodesk Animator  Pro or Autodesk 3D Studio.  This
  9. beta release of the  software includes  support for  resolutions up to
  10. 1024x768.  It is highly recommended that you  use  this program with a
  11. graphics card  that  has  an  accelerator,  such  as  IBM  XGA, Orchid
  12. Fahrenheit 1280, STB  Wind/X, Paradise for Windows,  etc.  A full list
  13. of supported adapters in Open Desktop can be found in this forum.

  15. The "scoflick" program  uses a simple  command line interface with the
  16. following parameters:

  18. Usage: scoflick -{cn} [-r<count>] [-d<delay>] [-g<geom>] file
  19.  -c         Take over the colormap (may cause screen to go technicolor)
  20.  -d<delay>  Delay between frames in 1/70s
  21.  -g<geom>   Geometry (only the location is used; size is ignored)
  22.               +0+0 : upper left corner
  23.               -0-0 : lower right corner
  24.               -0+0 : upper right corner
  25.               +0-0 : lower left corner
  26.  -n         Interpret the file before displaying
  27.             (faster but uses a whole lot more memory)
  28.  -p<pause>  Pause after the last frame (seconds)
  29.  -r<count>  Repeat count times

  33.     scoflick -r10 scoflick.flc
  34.     scoflick -d0 -n scoflick.flc
  35.     scoflick -g+0+0 -r10 scoflick.flc

  37. Suggestions:
  38.  
  39. If you have trouble  with speed  on your  particular graphics adapter,
  40. you  might want to use the "-n" parameter  to  speed  up  performance.
  41. This also requires that you  have at least  16 megabytes of memory for
  42. large files.  You may  also  want  to use  the "-d"  switch to set the
  43. delay to 0 between frames.

  47. in early April, 1993:

  49.     o support for 15 bit and 16 bit color (.F16 support)
  50.     o support for Microsoft Windows AVI files
  51.     o support for Soundblaster audio
