  19.           The C++ language provides function overloading, which means
  20.           that you can write many functions with the same name
  21.           (providing each takes parameters of different types).  All
  22.           C++ function names are encoded into a low-level assembly
  23.           label (this process is known as _m_a_n_g_l_i_n_g).  The cccc++++++++ffffiiiilllltttt
  24.           program does the inverse mapping: it decodes (_d_e_m_a_n_g_l_e_s)
  25.           low-level names into user-level names so that the linker can
  26.           keep these overloaded functions from clashing.

  28.           Every alphanumeric word (consisting of letters, digits,
  29.           underscores, dollars, or periods) seen in the input is a
  30.           potential label.  If the label decodes into a C++ name, the
  31.           C++ name replaces the low-level name in the output.

  34.           specifying these symbols on the command line.
