  12. This XingMPEG Player installation is for Windows 95 and Windows NT users.

  15. Preparing to Install the XingMPEG Player
  16.  
  17. Before installing the XingMPEG Player, make sure the following hardware
  18. and software is installed and working:
  19. - IBM PC 486/Pentium or compatible computer
  20.   (a Pentium with at least 8MB of RAM is recommended);
  21. - Microsoft Windows95;
  22. - a hard disk drive with at least 3MB of free space;
  23. - a CD-ROM drive is optional;
  24. - a sound card with a Windows wave audio driver is optional.

  26. Installing the XingMPEG Player
  27.  
  28. 1 Turn on your computer and start Windows.
  29. 2 Choose "Run" from the Windows 95 Start menu; the "Run" dialog
  30.   appears.
  31. 3 Type the path to the XingMPEG Player setup program (e.g., "A:\SETUP"
  32.   if you have an install disk in your PC's floppy drive "A"), and
  33.   click the "OK" button; the XingMPEG Player setup program starts.
  34. 4 Follow the setup program's on-screen instructions.
