The FineTuner - an enhanced visual interface in the Print Preview Window. Now you can move report data, sort, change fonts, add subtotals, formulas and graphics, and more while viewing the actual report in the Print Preview Window. Report design is more intuitive and more fun!

Integrated mail support makes report distribution a snap. Deliver reports using your favorite e-mail package (MAPI or VIM standards, for example MS-Mail, cc:MAIL, Lotus Notes and more). It's less hassle than printing and photocopying and it gives you a convenient method of sending reports to colleagues.
OLE 2.0 compatibility - include objects from other programs in reports. Crystal Services is committed to the timely delivery of important industry technology. Our implementation of OLE 2.0 means you can easily incorporate drawings, formatted text, charts etc. into reports, thereby communicating information more effectively.
Cross-tab reporting. Cross-tabs have never been this easy! Drag and drop database fields into row and column headings and you have a terrific matrix report. Cross-tabs help you make comparisons and identify trends in a hurry. Sophisticated reports such as "Sales by Product & Region" are a breeze!

Enhanced features for Visual Basic users. Pass queries directly to Crystal Reports Pro from the VB Data Control. Get a free copy of TrueGrid 2.0 Standard Edition, the fastest and easiest data-aware grid for VB, with built-in support for Crystal Reports Pro 3.0.
Compatibility with more SQL data sources. V. 3.0 adds IBM DB2/2 data access to ODBC connectivity, Gupta SQLBase, Microsoft SQL Server, NetWare SQL, Oracle, and SYBASE SQL Server data access.
Crystal Dictionaries. Create Data Dictionaries with intuitive field names, hidden links and formulas, as well as graphics and standard reports. For example, PESetLineHeights insures consistent placement of text on forms, regardless of printer and font. New calls in 3.0 provide exporting of data to many file formats, delivery of reports via e-mail, customization of the Print Preview Window "look" and functionality, and setting of the Print Date so reports can be run as of any date.
Extensible architecture. The Pro Report Engine has extensible features, such as integration of user defined function DLL's directly into the Formula Editor. The Data API and Export API permit custom data connectivity.
