  4. ASSOC.EXE is a Visual Basic program and thus requires VBRUN100.DLL
  5. in order to operate.
  6.  
  7. The program displays a list of the associations currently in place between
  8. file extensions and applications within Windows.  It allows existing
  9. associations to be changed or removed, and new ones to be established.
  10.  
  11. The program was written to fill a gap in BackMenu where no facility existed
  12. for associations without loading File Manager or editing WIN.INI.  It's
  13. free so don't expect too much!

  15. This software, in this release, remains Copyright ⌐ 1991 SP Services, and
  16. may be used free of charge by all BackDesk or BackMenu registrands; all
  17. others are invited to contact SP Services on +44 703 550037 to obtain
  18. BackDesk, but may use Associator for non-commercial purposes for as long as
  19. they like.
